LoanFree ("we", "our", "the app") is a loan countdown timer application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
All loan data you enter (amounts, rates, payment history, refinance records) is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit, collect, or have access to your financial data. On web, data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB. On Android and iOS, data is stored in the app's local storage. If you uninstall the app or clear browser data, your loan data is permanently deleted.
We use PostHog, an open-source analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage events such as which features are used, screen views, and general app interactions. This data does not include any personal information, financial data, or loan details. Analytics can be disabled by contacting us. No cookies are used for analytics.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob (Android/iOS) and Google AdSense (web). These services may collect device identifiers and use cookies to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your loan data is under your control on your device. You can export your data using the Export feature and delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.
For users in the European Economic Area: We do not process personal data. Anonymous analytics events are processed by PostHog under legitimate interest. You may opt out by contacting us.
For California residents: We do not sell personal information. We do not collect personal information as defined by the CCPA.
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
